Mary T. Meyer has a passion for the “people-side” of business – how to match the right person to the best position to optimize their talents.; how to train people to learn, and apply the learning; how to treat people respectfully, work cooperatively, and lead collaboratively; how to move through change and transition effectively; and how to hold people accountable for results.
Mary has worked in Organization Development & Training for over twenty years. She has advised city, county and state agencies, as well as small businesses and large corporations.
Areas of expertise include leadership development, project management, managing change/transition, conflict resolution, process improvement, team problem-solving, operations management, strategic planning, succession planning and career development.
Most recently, she is a Training Manager working in local government, providing instructional design for eLearning and classroom training, and LMS administration. She has also worked in the healthcare, education, construction and banking industries in a variety of roles and responsibilities, including supervisor, manager, operations manager, consultant, and business owner.
Mary holds a MS in Organization Development, as well as a BA in Speech and Communication. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Association for Training and Development (ATD). Mary is the owner of MTM Consulting and enjoys life in Oregon. Maui is her “happy place” – a favorite vacation spot!
